What is a social innovation economy?

City Corps Expansion Cities

Expansion Cities partner with City Corps to evaluate, design, and build a local ecosystem creating and scaling pathways to full-time roles - from entry to executive level - in the social impact sector and the broader labor market. In Expansion Cities, City Corps may also provide seed funding and startup support for 501(c)(3) and board development. Our first Expansion City is Birmingham, Alabama.

City Corps Affiliates

City Corps will work with local mayors, city agencies, and community organizations to first identify urgent needs and high-mobility pathways in the local workforce, then leverage resources and proven models to craft solutions that meet the needs of each individual city. Affiliates draw on technical assistance, resources and support provided by City Corps to build and champion this work.

Talent For Good

A national community of practice, Talent for Good is a unified network of 31 nonprofits from around the country who are innovators in workforce development strategies to address public problems. Talent For Good members center our learning community around the belief that investment in people from recruitment through retention is critical to addressing the world’s public problems.
